(J4L) a citywide performance collaboration conceived and artistically directed by Kuumba Lynx. J4L is a creative reconciliation of 6 of Chicago’s Juke & Footwork neighborhood-based dance communities. Together they create critically relevant live performances & music. In 2022, J4L kicked off with 6 community dance groups, 5 DJ’s, and 6 footworking artists totaling 255 youth.
