Youth On Youth

Youth on Youth is a peer to peer youth centered literacy program created by uptown youth inspired by the Mississippi  Freedom school model. Youth on youth is committed to transformational leadership. College, High school, and elementary aged participants are the facilitators mentors and participants. Youth on youth grows a collective of grassroots educators trained in an urban hip hop pedagogy. This is a space where youth are encouraged to name the world in which they live in so they can reimagine and transform it.
